Created in memory of Skye Dauphinot Hubbard, the Skyebird Educational Endowment honors the Denver Health Trauma team by supporting educational opportunities for their families. At the 2026 Trauma Survivors Fun Run, Denver Health recognized nine recipients, selected from 25 nominations across the Trauma team. Each award will support learning opportunities for the children and close loved ones of Denver Health Trauma team members, carrying forward Skye’s generous spirit through care, gratitude, and education. Thank you to Denver Health employee and Denver Health Foundation donor Dr. Daniel White. Dr. White began his Denver Health career as a resident 13 years ago and now serves as a Family Medicine Physician at the Lowry Family Health Center. He first came to Denver Health after working with refugee and immigrant communities, and he continues that commitment today as the Clinical Lead for Refugee, Immigrant and Newcomer Health Services. Dr. White supports Denver Health Foundation because he has seen how philanthropy makes a difference for patients and families, including some he has cared for since his residency.
