CONTRADICTION!

If you know me I’m the QUEEN of asking the right questions so you don’t get stuck thinking someone was one way when they’re not.

Except when there is no right question - there’s only action.

And tomorrow I’ll clear up this contradiction!

Emotional support vs emotional dependency it’s an area of my relationship I had to look at.

Was I going to him everytime I felt anxious, uncertain, frustrated - not every time but a lot.

And then I wondered why? Why isn’t he doing all the powerful things he did before?

What changed wasn’t him, it was me. He was and is my safe space but that took up his capacity to powerfully show up and it actually minimized mine.

You see when we mostly emotionally care for ourselves it builds confidence, self trust and makes us feel like the bad asses we are.

If someone else is soothing our emotions then we’re minimizing our ability to show up in ways that makes us the proudest!

And he’s so busy supporting he has no time for the other stuff.

So although it’s great to have a man who loves, cares and is there for you - are you relying on him too much? Is it time to come back to yourself a little more?

What I know is this one shift drastically changes the dynamic without needing to change anything!

❌The guy will walk away
❌I’ll be “unfit” for the promotion
❌My husband will resent me

We’re conditioned to believe our way will cost us.

BUT THAT’S NOT TRUE!!! 🙌

I’ve watched women step into what they truly wanted - only to be met with more respect, love, and success. 👏

✅They were finally recognized and valued at work.
✅Men pursued them with ease.
✅Husbands showed up in ways they never had before.

I know you feel it - that daily frustration of wanting to do things differently followed by the fear that you can’t.

But liberation, freedom and deeper fulfillment is honoring that you CAN, being willing to explore a different approach, and trusting it won’t just be ok, it’s likely what’s needed!
