Step Up Social Media
Oooh, this is fun! I'm playing with Snapchat's new text chat and video calls.
Whether you like it or not, the stuff that you see in your Facebook Newsfeed has changed again. Why? Because FB wants to continue to provide you with what you want to see and it's learning more about you in order to do that. This will affect many page owners! #8 is one that I see on pages daily.
What's changing? Here are the highlights:
You are seeing more:
1. Auto-Play videos
2. Bigger photos
3. News stories and current events
4. Resurfaced content (old stories you may have seen already that are really popular with your friends)
5. Content from other brands- if a brand tags another brand in a post, their content can now reach fans of both brand pages.
You are seeing less:
6. Meme photos
7. Spammy Links
8. Like-baiting (posts that ask you to like, share, comment)
