This past week, Aurora Fire Rescue in Colorado responded to a structure fire at a local hotel. The culprit was an electrical failure in a pool pump heater.
While we are thankful there were no injuries, the damage to the facility and the displacement of guests is a heavy price to pay for a mechanical failure.
Many commercial fires are preventable through:
Routine Thermal Imaging: Identifying "hot spots" in electrical panels before they ignite.
Scheduled Mechanical Audits: Ensuring high-draw equipment (like heaters and pumps) are being serviced.
Clearance Zones: Keeping storage and debris away from utility rooms.
Be Proactive, Not Reactive. To help our clients stay ahead of disasters, we offer free Emergency Response Plans (ERPs). We’ll walk your property with you to ensure your team has a roadmap ready before an emergency ever happens.
Prevention is always more cost-effective than restoration.
