An update on Leia who is happy to be back at Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption.
"Leia is back at the rescue after several weeks of hospitalization. She had an infected tear duct which also rotted out her jaw bone all along her right side nasal passage and part of the orbit of her eye. Part of her cheek bone on the right side of her face also needed to be removed. Luke is happy to have her back as he constantly checks up on her, grooms her and helps feed her. Thank you, Dr. Liza and staff for caring for her all this time. Leia needs to be hands fed mush 4 to 6 times a day until her mouth heals then she can go back on solid food."

The Live Goat Encounter is held at Northwest Open Space 2100 W. 112th Ave. It's a fun event and a great opportunity to enthusiastically tell lots of people about ferrets and Ferret Dreams Rescue and Adoption. Please email Ferret Dreams, if you can help us! [email protected]

Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption is blessed to have caring donors! You continually show us how much you care for the well-being of ferrets. When we told you about Olaf, so many of you left heart-warming comments on our post. Those comments were followed up with donations to help pay for Olaf's hospitalization and medical care. We just want you to say "thank you" for that.
Olaf is still at Critter Care Animal Hospital. We will update with any important changes in Olaf's condition. If you would like help us help ferrets, here's the link to ways you can donate to Ferret Dreams. https://www.ferretdreams.org/help-us-help-ferrets

Olaf was surrendered to Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption in sad condition. He has been hospitalized at Critter Care Animal Hospital for a couple of weeks. Top photo shows Olaf being held by Matthew, yesterday. Olaf is improving but Dr. Pfaff is concerned that Olaf may never fully regain leg strength.
If you can help us help pay Olaf's medical expenses, your donations would be appreciated. https://www.ferretdreams.org/help-us-help-ferrets
