Q: Can I pass HIV to others through casual contact like kissing or sharing cups?

A: No! And don’t let other people tell you otherwise. HIV is primarily transmitted through vaginal or a**l s*x or sharing of injection drug-use equipment. HIV dies quickly outside of the body and therefore can’t be transmitted by casual contact like touching, kissing, or through the air.
