The Red Ackie Monitor AKA Spiny Tailed Monitor is one of the smallest and more manageable Monitor lizards available. These guys can get 24-30 inches long as adults and they eat a diet of mainly insects along with small rodents or ground up meats. They are originally from Australia and require a hot spot of 150-160F with an ambient temp of 80-90F.
