I am on the hunt...the hunt to find out what the word/concept "Connection" truly means and why we need it, as human beings. In therapy, I witness and help facilitate "connection" in individual, child, family, and relationship therapy. Yet I still find it such a multi-layered concept!!

Ultimately, it is our own FELT SENSE (how we experience it in all our senses) of the word that truly matters. How we feel it in others and how we feel it in ourselves. Therefore, stay tuned, as I plan to post more on FB, Insta, and my Website to give you, Dear Reader, snippets of information (from various lenses) on this complicated term. I will be looking at the academic literature, my own personal experiences, my professional mental health experience and training, as well as information from other cultures to hopefully help you (and me too!) to understand what the heck "connection" truly is.

Do you have the bravery to allow yourself to feel this moment? To stop and notice, just notice? 💛Our culture in the United States tells us there is no room to stop and notice, but to do. But when we stop and just BE, that is when we can connect to ourselves and others in a truly joyful and deep way.
