After trading near USD 22,500, the bitcoin price found support. BTC formed a base and began a wave of recovery above USD 23,000. There was a breakout above the USD 23,200 resistance zone. However, the bulls hardly managed to overcome the USD 23,500 resistance zone. The price is currently consolidating below USD 23,100 with immediate support at USD 23,000. The next major support is near the $22,500 zone, below which price could test $22,000.

On the upside, immediate resistance is near the USD 23,500 level. A clear move above this level could trigger a sustained upward move.

Ethereum's full transition to PoS is officially scheduled for September 19.
On August 11, the next Goerli test network merge will take place. If all goes well, the dates of the main network merge will remain unchanged.
