It’s one thing to understand the mechanics of bow making, and quite another to understand the lived experience of the performer. That unique combination of perspectives is one of the many reasons we are so fortunate to have Evan Orman as a business partner at Denver Violins.

In addition to being a master archetier, Evan is an accomplished cellist AND bandoneón player. He studied tango music and bandoneón in Buenos Aires and has performed with the Black Oak Ensemble, Musique Dan Le Gers, Camerata San Antonio, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Chamber Musicians, and the Virtuosi Chicago Chamber Orchestra, among many others. Evan has also toured with the band DeVotchKa—appearing on their album 100 Lovers—and is a founding member of Grande Orquesta Navarre.
