Toad-ally Exceptional Learners

Earlier this month I spend a great week off the grid with my family in Lake City, Colorado. The trip was planned around climbing the 14er Uncompahgre Peak. Mind you if climbing 14er are your jam, there are many more to stage out of Lake City to cross off your list.

Lake City is in southern Colorado and part of my fathers stomping grounds as a child.

If you are looking for a place that is a days drive from Denver, with great food and friendly people this stop is a must.
