Hi Homeland 🇺🇸 I’m here! Didn’t officially announce because well, when you live in a small town you can expect to run into just about everyone within the first 2 weeks.

Here’s what I’m processing so far:

Home through new eyes 👀

It feels as GOOD 😊 as it does WEIRD. 🤨

I am a big supporter of pilgrimages back to old places- it can be triggering in all the best ways. ✨Clarity in the contrast ☯️

One thing I’m already struggling with tho…
😳SMALL TALK & PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE’S BUSINESS.
Aka. (Seemingly harmless) gossip.

There’s something so special about being in a foreign place because it often forces you & others to focus on the present.

Have you noticed that magic aspect of traveling as well?!

I’ve cried everyday for the past 2 weeks.

Sometimes of stress
Sometimes of worry
Sometimes of longing for partnership
But the majority were tears of GRATITUDE 🙏

The past 3 years in Australia, have cracked me wide open. 💥

Challenge after challenge inviting me into deeper, rawer, more radiant expressions of who I really am.

🌗 Quite the stark contrast to the little girl that dreamed of being a news anchor (fully knowing then that news anchors just read teleprompters)

🌗 A stark contrast to the young woman who used to get drunk to unleash her wild side

🌗 A stark contrast to a woman a few years younger than today, who didn’t cry for 6 months straight

✨Feeling is SELF ACCEPTANCE
✨Feeling is MAGNETIC
✨Feeling is HEALING

And I’m here for it! (Are u?!) Cuz since allowing myself to feel, my life has consistently bloomed into a waking dream

*cue more happy tears 🤣
