Did you know that July is Disability Pride Month? Highlands celebrates disabled persons embracing their disabilities as integral parts of who they are, reclaiming visibility in public and interacting fully with their disabilities out in the open, and rejecting shame and internalized ableism.

Sermon Synopsis: The book of Ruth isn’t just a sweet romcom. We’re looking at this story as a "Minority Report", a radical, holy "clapback" against a culture of walls and exclusion. Drawing on the insights of poet Pádraig Ó Tuama, we’ll explore why the "outsider" Ruth is the true hero of the story, challenging the insiders of her time (and ours) to practice a love that refuses to stay behind borders.
