Hello, my lovely Luminary community. How are you all doing?

There has been a lot of life happening over here for me. I have been fostering one of my daughters’ friends since the middle of December. It is yet to be determined if this is a long-term placement or not. I am doing my best to provide a safe, loving, calm and structured environment for her. I am stepping in and getting her the care and support she has been lacking for years. I know what I am doing is important and making a difference for her, and I am so tired.

The work I do and the support I provide to my clients can be really heavy. I have been doing really well with managing it all and taking really good care of myself too. I have been working REALLY hard for almost 3 years to build my business and provide support for so many women (and a few men).

I am so tired.

Recently all the work has taken a really big toll on me, and I need to hit pause. I need to focus on me, my needs and my family. I need to put my oxygen mask back on and breathe.

I will be taking a break and not taking on any new clients. I will be wrapping up with my current clients as well. This isn’t forever, but it will be until I feel rested and refreshed.
