There is a high comorbidity rate between neurodivergent folxs and biomedical health conditions. It wasn't until I figured out I was Autistic that I was able to understand and connect the dots on my health issues that left doctors stumped for 8 years.

My POTs, hEDS, dystonia, MCAS are all connected to my neurodivergence. So please don't give up, do your research, and advocate for yourself.

The medical model wasn't built for us. So if you want testing done or to be referred to a specialist and your provider refuses remember to tell them "I would like you to document your refusal to treat in my chart and I would like a copy for my records"

This can make them legally liable down the road if you have a condition and damage could have been prevented with proper treatment.

You can also file a complaint with your insurance provider and with your local ethics board if you feel you have been harmed by a provider.
