When we moved into our Denver cottage nearly 6 years ago, all the walls were beige and everything just felt a little flat. First, I painted everything white and over time and then things just felt sterile—oops.

I’ve been slowly adding more color and pattern to our home to make it really feel special and unique and this space no exception.

Once overlooked and now a cheery greeting spot when you walk into our home!

YES, I still need one more piece of art on my wall here, this space makes me so happy and cheery to walk through every morning. It glows the happiest yellow in the mornings when the sun hits it. ☀️The color is Farrow & Ball’s Sudbury yellow, but paint matched at Benjamin Moore because I’m too impatient to wait for shipping!

Oh, and a fun fact—the portrait of the woman with red hair on the right bottom side is my grandmother :) What a beauty!!
