One major part of being independent is to get out in God’s wild places to gain perspective and meaning. Every fall, people from all over the world come to Colorado to do just that. Colorado GOP is debating to close primaries to independent voters. They want more control over the Republicans they nominate. I actually agree with them, they are a private political club and they should be able to nominate who they want. The real story is that independent voters are the majority voting block (47%) and we have zero quality candidates to support and vote for. It’s time to seek out and support true common sense, constitutional-minded independent leaders who are willing to challenge the establishment candidates.
