I’ve always loved my mother, no matter what. But, I never truly appreciated her, I mean REALLY felt genuine gratitude and awe for ALL that she did for me, until I became a mother myself. There’s a part of me that hurts a little, for the next couple of decades with my own children, who will not have the capacity to understand my sacrifices and love for them— but I cannot wait for the day, to recreate this photo with my own daughter, when she has just become a mother, and realizes what it is actually all about. Thank you mom, I will never be able to return what you have given me, but I will pass it on to the next generation as the biggest heart in their world.

Pregnancy can be a mind trip. There’s so many changes happening all at once, but journaling is a great way to help you process it all.

Journaling is an extremely personal form of self-care, which means it’s going to look different for everyone!

Some people love stream-of-consciousness journaling (also known as a mind “dump”), where you simply put pen to paper and let your thoughts flow out onto the page- paying no attention to structure, grammar or tone.

Others, prefer prompts or questions to get them thinking more critically about what’s going on in their subconscious.

✨Whatever style you choose, there’s no right or wrong way to journal.✨

The goal is simply to express the endless amount of thoughts you have throughout your pregnancy, and hopefully begin to ease your mind.
