There are many things to be said for the beauty of simplicity. Something about, say, your classic snickerdoodle and the subtle way that those two foundational flavors work so well together.

HOWEVER, there is just as much to be said about the opposite. Sometimes, simplicity should be shelved. Such is the case with these caramel pretzel M&M cookies, which have been a favorite of mine (and others) for several years. The name itself is a mouthful, what’s not to love?

Chaotic? Yes.
One-of-a-kind? Also yes.

In the background you may also notice some very sensible chocolate chip cookies. Just so y’all know that I haven’t completely lost my marbles.
