Mark your calendars, Denton! The 27th Annual Community Tree Giveaway is on October 18th and registration kicks off September 23rd at 10 AM!

🌳Open to Denton residents only; proof of residency required at pickup.
🌳Limit of one tree per household.
🌳Tree pickup scheduled for October 18th. If you are unable to collect on this date, please do not register.
🌳Participants must have a Parks and Recreation account. Set up your account ahead of time at www.dentonparkscatalog.com.

✨ Native Plant Spotlight ✨

Big Bluestem is a perennial, warm-season, native reaching 36 to 76 inches or 0.9 to 1.9 m tall. This native grass provides cover, nesting sites, and seeds for a variety of bird species. You can find Big Bluestem among the native grasses planted across pocket prairies in Denton Parks!
