Kilo came to us when his previous family could no longer afford his care. ☹️
While the change was unexpected, Kilo hasn’t let it dampen his spirit, he’s still hopeful, loving, and ready to find his forever home.🏡

In a home environment, Kilo truly shines. He is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands, including “sit.” His personality is calm and easygoing, with just the right dose of playful zoomies to keep things fun. He would do well in a house or apartment and makes a wonderfully well‑mannered companion.♥️

🐶 Other dogs? Kilo loves canine friends and enjoys their company.
🐱 Cats? He can be a little timid due to past experiences, but with patience and proper introductions, he may adjust over time.
At the shelter, Kilo has shown himself to be a kind, gentle and loving soul. Despite being a wonderful dog, he has received very little interest and that breaks our hearts💔.

Senior dogs like Kilo have so much love to give and ask only for comfort, companionship and stability in return.

Meet beautiful Lizzy.
She is an 8-year-old shepherd mix with the most soulful eyes. She has a very calm nature. But wait – it gets better – she is crate trained, housebroken (bonus) and knows basic commands. Her situation has become urgent to get her into foster or permanent home care. She has a medium energy level—she enjoys playtime and toys, but also loves to relax and unwind. Lizzy is food motivated, which helps with training and building her confidence. She is generally indifferent to other dogs but can be selective, so a meet and greet is recommended if you have other pets. Lizzy would do best with a foster or permanent home who can help her continue to gain confidence and provide her with a stable, loving environment. Her calm demeanor and potty training skills make her a great companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate dog. Lizzy’s mental well-being will greatly benefit from time in a home, as the shelter environment is stressful for her after such a long stay. Fostering Lizzy will not only give her a much-needed break but also help her shine and increase her chances of finding a forever home. She is a 3-year-old, medium-sized Shepard mix who has been in the shelter since 1/31/2026. She has won the hearts of the volunteers here at the shelter! She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. She is ready for that special family who only wants one dog in the home. She prefers the company of people only. In fact, she is a total cuddle bug with people so she is best suited for a family looking for a loyal companion without other pets. Her extended stay at the shelter means she’s more than ready to find a loving home where she can thrive and share her affectionate personality.
