The Computer Science and Engineering department Undergraduate Seminar is designed to bring together students interested in understanding and potentially engaging in extracurricular applications of CSE, with a focus on ongoing research, networking, technology exploration and preparation for industry.

Speakers will include department faculty, industry representatives, career specialists, and other invited outside speakers. Students will be asked to read relevant literature and participate in discussions.

The NSF S-STEM Scholarship provides $13,000 in funding to second-year CSE students in financial need, plus opportunities in paid research conference travel, mentorship by UNT faculty, and specialized STEM courses offering certification.

Ever been curious how engineers actually collaborate on code in real world environments?

We're pleased to host Invitation Homes at Discovery Park on March 18 to give an information session entitled, Git Essentials: How Modern Engineers Collaborate. During the session, IH personnel will provide exercises on their day-to-day workflow with Git and discuss key qualities to look out for internship and entry-level opportunities with IH and beyond.
