On this day 23 years ago, 246 people went to sleep for their morning flights, 2,606 people went to sleep for work tomorrow, 25 flight attendants packed their bags for their early reports, 343 firefighters, 60 police officers and 8 paramedics went to sleep for their morning shifts - none of them got to see past 11:00am on Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. Life can change so drastically in one single moment. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today, and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never ever take one second for granted.

We created Soleful Steps to give back to communities in need and are starting in the DFW metroplex.

This project idea started many years ago and not only grew from our passion for giving back but also...

After seeing our children grow out of shoes that were still in excellent condition and some having only been worn once.....

And

After Scott completed over 9 marathons, 2 Triathalons, 40+ half marathons, and hundreds of other running events - we saw runners discarding their shoes as they had "put too many miles on them" yet they looked brand new.....

These shoes can make a huge difference in someone's life. It could mean the difference between barefoot or not. Or being able to play a sport or not. Or getting that job or not.
