Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 19 years old on or before the posted closing date of May 17, 2019. Candidates must meet physical requirements as established by the City of Lincoln. Possession of valid driver's license.

Must possess a Nebraska Emergency Medical Technician - (EMT) License within 180 days of appointment. Must obtain a Nebraska Firefighter I certification within 120 days of appointment. National Registry Paramedic certification desired. SELECTED CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT TO, AND
SUCCESSFULLY PASS, A SUBSTANCE ABUSE TEST.

Applicants who successfully meet minimum requirements will be scheduled for the written exam. The written exam and physical ability tests are scheduled for May 28 and 30, 2019. Detailed test information will be sent by e-mail to qualified candidates.
