🙋🏻‍♀️, everyone! I hope you’ve all been well and healthy! As most of you have heard, JBE gave the go ahead for salons to open at a limited capacity. While I’m super excited about the idea of getting back behind the chair, I’m just as nervous and skeptical. Jaime, Jenn and I all have parents that are high risk for this virus, so we are taking every measure possible to protect ourselves for them. Due to the limited spacing available in our salon, we will each be working alone at all times for the foreseeable future. At most, we’ll each be working 2-3 days a week. I’ll be extending my hours and not taking lunch breaks to make sure I can get you in as quickly as possible. I was forced to cancel nearly 50 clients during this shut down, and at the end of this week I will be contacting them first in the order in which they were canceled to be fair to everyone. If you did not have a prescheduled appointment, please text me and let me know that you would like to get on the waiting list.

Please be aware that the new guidelines state that both you and I will have to wear a mask at all times. For my own safety, I’m asking that you wear a SURGICAL mask that fits behind the ears. If you don’t have one when you come in, I will have them for sale for $2 each. Your temperature will be taken before you enter, and I’ll need to get a brief health history from you. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment as it can only be myself and my client in that space at any given time. There will be no waiting area in our salon, so please call or text me when you arrive, and I will come out to get you when I’m ready to start your service. In the interest of being able to get guests in as quickly as possible, styling services will not be offered. As much as I love to gather the after photos of the work I’ve done for you, I need to be able to get as many clients in to get caught up. I hope you understand!!

I’m asking that you please be patient as I try to accommodate everyone as fast as I can while trying to navigate this new way of life. I miss each of you, and I can’t wait to catch up and visit! Sending love and positive thoughts to you! 💜

Just sitting here thinking that on a typical Wednesday morning, I’d be heading out to work to do what I love the most! But, man, we have had to make some serious adjustments here lately!! I’ve been trying my best to make the most of this time we’ve been given...

I recently bought a 🌈Rainbow🌈 home cleaning system, so my house has never been cleaner or smelled so good!! I use the air purifying benefit to make sure my air is disinfected and safe to breathe. Best. Investment. Ever.

Cooking!! 🥑🍅🥗 I’ve been having SO much fun experimenting with new flavors and ingredients. I recently ran across the most informative outlet !! Bobby does a bang up job of letting you know what’s truly in the food you’re eating and why it’s either beneficial or detrimental to your body. As most of you know, I adopted a gluten, wheat, corn, soy and peanut free lifestyle recently. I’m here to tell you I’ve NEVER felt better!! And FlavCity has been crucial to that success! Check it out!! And let me know if you’re interested in me sharing some more about this!!

I’ve spent more time outside the last few weeks than I typically would have in a few months! ☀️ I’ve enjoyed morning coffee and evening tea on the patio. I walk and wave hello to the neighbors. And most importantly, I smile when I do it! I think now more than ever, a smile can go a long way in making someone feel calm and feel a greater sense of peace.

I’ve been brushing up on some continuing education so I’m ahead of the game when I am able to get back to work! Can’t wait to share some new ideas and techniques with y’all! 💇🏻‍♀️

My point is this... as difficult as our situation is currently, we have so much opportunity to slow down. Enjoy the small things life offers that we typically disregard. Reconnect with your family and friends. Do the things you’ve been wanting to do but never have time for. Be thankful for the blessings we still have even in the midst of an uncertain time like this. Spread some love. And take care of yourself and each other ❤️. Sending you love and positivity 😘

So, what are you doing with all of your down time? Share with me in the comments below! 👇🏽

Talk about a brunette bombshell! This lady is one of my faves. 🥰 We recently decided to start experimenting with some balayage... and this certainly didn’t disappoint! I needed to break up the solidness and two-toned look of her color... so I brought down the natural and brought up some brighter, bolder pieces. But I made sure to do them in a way that kept it looking soft. Shifted that tone with ShadesEQ and this is what we were left with. Loving👏🏽it👏🏽!!
