In A Split Second

8 years ago today we lost our Baby Chase. He would be 9. There's no worst news to a family than that. Please pray for our family on this day that we may get thru it.

***Florida friends with little ones*** If you are filling up your tubs with water, please lock the bathroom doors to prevent little ones from getting in while we are running around. Accidents happen during chaotic times. I read this somewhere and the thought has haunted me and wanted to share. 👶 🛀

Good morning. Today our lil Baby Chase would be 7 years old & in 1st grade. No telling how much havac that lil guy would cause his teacher. He was one lil onry, lovable, sweet boy. So full of energy & adventure. Such a ham he was & I'm sure he'd still be. I seem to miss him more some years than others. I still can see Chase coming over & we'd put on the music & that boy was ready to dance. He was a great dancer & love it. Those lil legs had the moves. His cousins Buddy & Rikku used to get on the floor & break dance & of course he had to do it as well. So cute.
Again I will mention how important it is to always have an eye on those lil guys. No matter what, they are so quick they disappear in a flash. It's Spring time almost here in the south so we'll be working in our yards making them pretty for the warm weather. There are so many hazards out we often forget about. Toddlers see most of those as adventures to discover. Keep all ladders put up because I can just see our Baby Chase up a ladder in no time. He got his nick name from his daddy "Monkey" honestly. Paint buckets, sharp tools & those types of things need to always be put up. In the house, under the kitchen sink & bathroom sink usually have lots of things tiny hands have no need to touch. Cords hanging down where they can pull things off of counters & be hit on the head & don't forget those cords that go to mini blinds because they can wrap those cords around their necks. Don't let your toddler be a memory. After all, those lil guys only have us to guide them & protect them.
