A Prayer for the Second Anniversary of the Delray Torah Center
Ribbono Shel Olam, With gratitude and humility we stand before You as the Delray Torah Center marks its second anniversary.
We thank You, Hashem, for the kindness You have shown us, for every shiur, tefillah, gathering, and moment of connection that has filled these walls with light. As it is written, Hodu LaShem ki tov ki leolam chasdo — we give thanks to Hashem for His kindness endures forever (Tehillim 118).
We offer heartfelt thanks for the people of this community, those who learn, who pray, who volunteer, who support, and who build. As the verse teaches, Olam chesed yibaneh — the world is built through acts of kindness (Tehillim 89), and this center stands because of their generosity of spirit.
Hashem, bless our community with continued growth, unity, and joy. May this be a place where Torah flourishes, where friendships deepen, and where every soul feels uplifted. Grant us the strength to expand our programs, deepen our learning, and bring even more light to Delray Beach.
May the coming years be filled with peace, blessing, and the sweetness of Torah, as it says, Ki ner mitzvah vTorah or — a mitzvah is a lamp and the Torah is light (Mishlei 6).
Yehi Ratzon that You guide us, protect us, and help us continue building a makom of kedushah for generations to come.

What a wonderful Lag B Omer with food and music and great friendship

Today, on Yom HaShoah, we pause to remember the six million Kedoshim who were murdered in the Holocaust, and to honor the strength, resilience, and unwavering faith of those who survived.

Their memory is not just something we carry once a year, but a responsibility we live with every day to strengthen our commitment to Torah, to Jewish life, and to one another.

Last week during Yizkor we had a small but meaningful service of remembrance in Shul, where we came together as a community to reflect, to remember, and to ensure that the voices of the past continue to be heard.

May the memory of all those who perished be a blessing, and may we continue to build a future worthy of their sacrifice.

As we gathered for Yizkor on the last day of Pesach, we took a moment to honor the loved ones whose memories continue to inspire and uplift us. It was also a time to strengthen our community in their merit.
