Sometimes condo buildings have concrete ceilings or just close to zero plenum space. As a result, recessed lighting products are not possible. Here is a really cool install of square surface mount fixtures from Flexalighting that in my opinion look even better than the recessed alternative! The LED tape behind the TV console is a beautiful touch as well. LED tape is relatively inexpensive and easy to install (since it's usually low voltage) but can be the easiest way to add sophistication and WOW factor to your space.
