Bruce and Duke playing “predator” and “prey”. Rehearsing hunting behavior can be a totally fun, healthy form of play for a lot of dogs, but it should not be one sided. “Taking turns” and respecting “time outs” when things get overwhelming are an important part of safe play. These guys get it 🐇 🐺

Could not be more proud of this little dude. 4 months ago, he was counter surfing and stealing dinners off the table. Today? A working boy!
Bruce has just started therapy dog training, and he was absolutely made for the job. He brought so much joy to the clients at Compass’s Enterage Program tonight, and I am filled with so much gratitude for getting to use dog training as the vehicle to put smiles on people’s faces. Amazing job, Brucie.
