(Let’s try this again - full res) During the Thursday birding outing at Saratoga County Airport this past week, Chris and Cindy Edwards were able to add Grasshopper Sparrow to their New York State bird list as species 249. The bird offered only distant views while perched on an airport taxiway light, though nearby Vesper and Savannah Sparrows were much more cooperative while foraging nearby.
