Ginger and Breast Cancer 07/07/2026

Did you know that ginger may help ease certain chemotherapy side effects, particularly nausea and vomiting? Enjoyed as fresh ginger, tea, or ginger chews, some people find it to be a helpful complement to their symptom management plan.

That said, ginger isn't right for everyone. It can interact with certain medications or affect blood clotting, especially when taken in larger amounts or as a supplement.

Before adding ginger to your routine during treatment, always check with your medical team to make sure it's safe and appropriate for your individual care plan.

When a parent is diagnosed with cancer, finding the right words to talk with your children can feel overwhelming.

Join us for an educational workshop led by licensed clinical social workers Christine Webber, LCSW, and Catherine McAvoy-Pindar, LCSW, who will share practical tools and guidance to help parents navigate these difficult conversations with honesty and compassion.

Parents are welcome to bring their children, who can participate in Hope Club's Kids Club during the presentation. A complimentary light dinner will also be provided. We hope you'll join us!
