I believe in response to a status I made on my personal FB page last week - I was just asked what I think of the logo 'design' service Fiverr offers. Here's my 2 cents:
"Yea I've never been a fan of this service. It diminishes the value of a design specialist. A design specialist does more than throw some pretty artwork on a canvas. A design specialist will research your company, industry, and competitors and put something together that isn't just visually appealing - but will be effective in reaching your target audience."
