What an unforgettable 10 days! As we wrap up Delavan Celebrates America's 250th – 10 Days of Patriotic Pride, our hearts are filled with gratitude.
Thank you to the dedicated Delavan 250th Committee, whose members met month after month to dream, plan, and coordinate this incredible community celebration.
Thank you to the many organizations, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups that planned and hosted more than 30 amazing events over the past 10 days. Your passion, creativity, and commitment made this celebration truly special.
A heartfelt thank you to the City of Delavan, Wisconsin and its staff, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help coordinate logistics, provide support, and ensure each event could be a success. Your dedication did not go unnoticed.

Here's to the memories we made, the friendships we celebrated, and the community spirit that will continue long after America's 250th celebration has ended.

Join us today, Sunday July 5 at the American Legion Post 95 for the Legion’s Ice Cream Social.
Noon to 3 pm.
Ice cream sundaes are $1.50.
The Legion’s Flag Line will also be available to view, located in the lower hall at the Legion. They have an electric chair, if you can’t do stairs.

DHS will have a Children’s Patriotic Art Display and Historical Uniform Display. Thank you to the Walworth County Historical Society for lending us uniforms.

DHS will also have their Delavan 250 merchandise available. Stop in and sign the attendance book and become part of history!

At 3pm we will pull the 3 winners for our sold out raffle.

Be sure to take a look at the muster tree carving that was completed for America’s Birthday. It is in the parking lot between BMO Bank and the old movie theater.
