Let’s talk fabric softener for a sec 👀

I know it makes clothes smell good and feel soft, but most fabric softeners work by leaving a coating on your clothes. That coating can build up over time, trap odors, make towels less absorbent, and leave extra fragrance sitting on your skin all day.

A simple swap I love is white vinegar in the rinse cycle.

It can help:
✨ soften fabrics naturally
✨ rinse away leftover detergent residue
✨ freshen up towels and clothes
✨ cut down on that musty laundry smell
✨ avoid heavy synthetic fragrance

I usually do a small splash when needed, especially with towels, bedding, or anything that’s starting to smell a little funky.

Just don’t mix vinegar with bleach❗️

Hopefully just for today or only a few days at most, but we’re still without electric and water from Friday’s storm. I’m not able to plug in the fridge, cameras, or have everything running how it should be.
