Volusia has issued an evacuation order for people on the island, plus people in mobile homes, low areas prone to flooding, etc. Also, there is a curfew from 8 PM Wednesday to 8 AM Thursday. You can get fined or even jailed for being out at those times.

If you care about the environment, I recommend joining the Environmental Voter Project. There are a lot of people who care about the environment but do not vote, and this project gets them out to the voting both.
