The metal sorter will support recycling operations by overseeing the process of separating various scrap materials. The right individual will be flexible as working hours may regularly extend beyond regular business hours.

- Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

- Assist in performing inventory on materials

- Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus (Pay will rise accordingly depending upon experience)

- Must work within mandated timelines

- Self / Professional responsibility and organization, is a must. We are not micro-managers at King Surplus.

- PREFERRED 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment

- Must be able to perform the physical task of the job assigned; to include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching

- Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time.

- Must have experience with computers (Reporting with Excel, Email, Etc) (40+WPM Required)
