Thank you to all the candidates and community members who attended The Border Organization’s 2026 City of Del Rio Accountability Session. Only one candidate chose not to attend (Arturo Rodriguez). Most of the candidates agreed to work with TBO on most of our issues. See our previous post to watch the session.

Border Organization leaders understand that nothing will change unless we hold our elected officials accountable to their commitments, and the best way to hold them accountable is with our VOTE and sustained, organized engagement.

Special thanks to San Felipe Exes for hosting and KWMC for live streaming.

Some of our leaders went door to door in Precinct 4 of Val Verde last weekend to invite voters to our candidate roundtable this evening, Monday, 6-7 pm at Principe de Paz, 404 W. Chapoy St., Del Rio. Our leaders will be asking the candidates questions regarding water for colonias, animal control, 287g spending, and more. Please make a point to attend if you plan to vote in the Val Verde primaries.
