Hello Everyone,
We got here a 2014 Dodge Ram with a 6.4 Hemi. Customer concern the check engine light will come on and off under a load, with a light misfire. Check codes and cylinder #8 was present and misfiring while driving.

Checked all the basics components, Ignition coils, Injectors, Spark plugs, all check out ok. Remove the valve cover and found one of the Rockers Arms on cylinder #8 was not moving due to a bad Lifter and Camshaft. Remove the engine from the vehicle, and take apart, wash all the internal parts, and install new Camshaft, Lifters, Oil Pump, Timing Chain Kit, all new gaskets and seals. Install the engine back into the vehicle, top off with fluids, test drive vehicle worked great.

The failure to this issue is the quality of motor oil and filters, and changing the oil in time. This things play a big role and extends the engine life.
