Does ASTM Certify masks?? And if I see "ASTM Certified Masks" on a website, does that mean they are compliant to the new ASTM F3502 standard?

No! ASTM DOES NOT certify masks. The ASTM standard allows manufacturers to determine compliance with all of its requirements only. ASTM currently has no measures in place to police companies who make false certification claims. If you see a company in violation, you can report at [email protected], attn: Head of Rights and Permissions. They are currently considering a registry of 'compliant' manufacturers which we will be sure to post as soon as it's available. Don't buy masks making false ASTM certification claims that might put you or your employees at risk. Demand Visual Proof of compliance prior to purchasing.
