And what I did was make a conscious choice to change my story. ✨⁣

I become the author - not society, not my boss, not my parents. ⁣
⁣
ME. 💁⁣
⁣

Instead I focused on small wins:⁣
⁣
⛱️ What I did in my spare time outside of work. ⁣
⁣
📶Then it evolved into focusing on living with intention. Making conscious choices about EVERY. SINGLE. THING. ⁣

☑️ Who I spent my time with. ⁣
⁣
☑️ How I showed up. ⁣
⁣
☑️ Where I went throughout the week AND weekend (no more going to places that drained me out of obligation). ⁣

Just bc I talk about the journey more than the result doesn’t mean:

1️⃣ I don’t struggle through the journey myself
.. even though I’d love me some Captain Marvel-like self-assurance ... it’s not always there 💯

2️⃣ That you’re supposed to be cheery through the whole thing
.. that’s definitely been a tough one for me. I cry and doubt myself through the whole process sometimes 😬

3️⃣ That you have to do it alone
.. just like the little boy in last week's video, I don’t think I’d get through it without my mentors and support system cheering me on ... or occasionally just giving me a hug 🤗
