Del Mar Fairgrounds

We were proud to welcome 40 local San Diego students to the Del Mar Fairgrounds last week for a hands-on California Restaurant ProStart experience hosted by our food and beverage partner—Legends—in partnership with National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.

Students got a behind-the-scenes look at venue operations through a facility tour, then put their skills to the test in a fast-paced service agility course designed to simulate front-of-house restaurant service. The day wrapped with a catered lunch prepared with help from the students and a fun finale decorating homemade cannolis.

It was an inspiring day of learning, teamwork, and real-world hospitality experience. Looking forward to having the students back for a visit to the San Diego County Fair!
