I took these little guys with me on 2 medical trips to Haiti. Packed great. First used as a wash cloths while washing with bottled water. 2 days later used it to hold pressure on a bleeding hand, my own. Now I have one in my "trip essentials" bag and one in my every day bag. Will take them camping this summer. Shipped quickly, does what it says it does, 5 stars period.

This is one of the niftiest things to have in your survival kit. They are so tiny. Really, they are only about 2 inches in circumference, but incredibly handy. When you open these up, they expand into a pretty decent-sized towel that you would have never thought could come out of such a small package. I suppose that is one of the main things that I like about this product. When choosing items for your camping or regular survival kit, space is extremely limited, as you want to have room for the vital materials, yet you also don't want a lot of items that will weigh you down. These towels are extremely light. They basically have no weight to them, but they are highly absorbent, which I love. They could be used for general purposes, cleaning, covering a wound if need be, or drying off. I think they're quite handy and a must to have. You certainly won't miss the space, because they barely take up any. A great product that I will always keep in my bag (actually, I'll keep a few in there).

My husband and I got a great deal on airfare to the Azores by flying with carry-ons only, but... that meant we had to be VERY selective about what we brought on our 10 day vacation. These beach towels were by far the MOST weight and space efficient items we packed. Heck, I didn't even have to pack it - I put in the back pocket of my jeans, just like it showed in the ad! It's a bit mind boggling how this smaller-than-a-hockey-puck of a package opens into a full 36" x 60" towel, but it does. These are great as swimming towels - very absorbent and they dry quickly. Obviously they're not plush, so if plush is important to you, this isn't your towel. But if you're looking to save space and weight while traveling, I highly recommend them. They get the job done.
