Dedham Democratic Town Committee
03/26/2026
This Saturday, March 28, Dedham will join communities across the country for a “No Kings” demonstration. The local gathering will take place from 2:00–3:00 PM at High and Washington Streets in Dedham Square. If you can't make it at 2, you have many nearby options to choose from!
Nationwide, there are now hundreds of lawsuits challenging Trump’s unconstitutional power grabs, attacks on voting rights, and reckless escalation in Iran, underscoring how serious this moment is for our democracy.
Over seven million people joined NO KINGS last October, and with more than 3,200 events planned this Saturday, this peaceful protest is a key way to channel that energy into flipping the House and Senate in November!
Feel free to share sign ideas in the comments!

Thanks to everyone who joined us at our caucus last night, including State Treasurer Deb Goldberg who was kind enough to kick us off. It was great to hear from so many candidates for our state, federal, county and local races!

Tomorrow, Saturday October 18, we have an opportunity to stand together for the core values that define America. “No Kings” protests will take place across the country including in Boston and surrounding towns. Your presence is vital.
People across the country are gathering peacefully to defend free speech, checks and balances, the rule of law, and the promise of a country that works for everyone—not just billionaires. These demonstrations affirm that the United States belongs to its people, not to those who would rule it like a monarchy.
Research shows that when about 3.5% of people take part in sustained, nonviolent protest, even entrenched regimes must listen and change course. That’s the proven power of a committed movement of highly engaged protectors of democracy—neighbors, families, and communities who stand up when it matters most.
The Boston demonstration will begin at noon on the Boston Commons. If you’d like to meet up with other Dedham folks, a contingent will meet at the tennis courts in the Common on the fence side that faces Parkman Bandstand at 11:30 am. If you want to caravan, there will be a group meeting up at Big Bear between 10 and 10:30 before driving over.
Another contingent of Dedham folks will be going to the Needham rally at 2pm, and others to West Roxbury at 9am, at the rotary of Center St and West Roxbury Parkway. Feel free to drop comments to help plan meetups and share sign ideas!
Every person who shows up helps build momentum. Bring a friend, a neighbor, or a family member. Let’s stand together for justice, fairness, and the democracy our country was built on.
Let’s raise our voices together this Saturday!
