🚨 Tax Day Reminder for Marketplace Clients 🚨

If you had a Health Insurance Marketplace plan in 2025, here’s an important reminder:

If you received premium tax credits (subsidies) to lower your monthly premium, you are required to file a federal tax return and reconcile those credits using Form 1095-A — even if your income is below the normal filing requirement. 

If you paid full price for your Marketplace plan and are not claiming the premium tax credit, you generally do not need to complete Form 8962. You should still keep your Form 1095-A with your tax records. 

Failing to file and reconcile when required can delay your refund and may affect your eligibility for future financial assistance.
