Wise Owls Learning Center

Today we finished up our week by creating these colorful flame crafts using tissue paper. The children had so much fun tearing and gluing the tissue paper to make bright flames. Today we learned all about firefighters and the important job they do to help keep our community safe. We talked about the tools they use, how they respond to emergencies, and ways they help people every day. The children enjoyed learning about firefighters and were excited to show off their creative flame projects!

Community Helper week, Pre K acted like construction workers! We practiced our building skills using marshmallows and toothpicks.

We learned all about dentists and how they help keep our teeth healthy and strong. We talked about different things that can hurt our teeth, such as eating too much candy and not brushing regularly. The children worked together in groups to create posters showing healthy and unhealthy foods for our teeth. They enjoyed drawing pictures on their posters and discussing which foods help keep our smiles bright and healthy. It was a fun and educational day filled with teamwork and learning! 🦷😁🍎🍭

Field trip day, and the children had a wonderful time! We went out for snow cones, which were a refreshing treat on a warm day. The kids also enjoyed playing on the playground and had lots of fun jumping and playing in the bounce house. Back in the classroom, we took some time to finish up any unfinished work from earlier in the week and worked on a few special Father’s Day papers for their dads to enjoy this weekend. It was a fun-filled day full of learning, play, and creativity!
