A year ago, this section was pruned to the stump. During the regrowth period, corn was planted in the alley. Not only does this help with a staple food, it loosens the soil and helps with w**d management and erosion.

With just one crop a year, we always cut it close and are so happy when the new crop arrives! Container #1 of our 2026 crop has landed - 3 more to go.
