Oakhurst’s Summer Jam! Starting Wednesday, July 8, 7:00 p.m.

With the Sanctuary Choir on summer hiatus, Wednesday evenings in the Choir Room are open—and you’re invited!

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or someone who’s never tried a solo but feels that little spark of curiosity, Summer Jam is your space. Come work on a piece you’ve been thinking about, explore how you want it to sound, or try out something you might like to share with the congregation one Sunday. We define “sacred” music broadly here at Oakhurst, so bring your imagination.

THIS Sunday, June 28, 2026. Brunch begins at 10:30 and the show starts at 11am. Potluck style brunch. Family friendly!

You can also join by Zoom. The zoom broadcast will begin at 11am.

We are so exited to host our third annual Gospel Drag Brunch! We can’t wait to welcome back Canzara SZN, Tucker Aye Alxndr, and Molly Alxndr of the House of Alxndr. Miss Terra Cotta Sugarbaker will bring the word!

This Sunday we celebrate all the ways in which the Sanctuary Choir has blessed us with music in worship this past year and the leadership of Tom FitzStephens. The choir will offer some of their favorite songs, interspersed with reflections on the power of music and words to help guide and sustain us through difficult times as well as celebrate the joys that still abound.
