Avondale High School Class of 1981

Dear Classmates,

Mildred, Avis and I are pleased to announce plans for our upcoming 40th Class Reunion on behalf of Avondale
High School Class of 1981!

Our celebration will be held at one of Atlanta’s top event venues - Wisteria Lanes at the Emory Conference Center Hotel on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 7:00pm.

Please invite your AHS friends to celebrate with us! You are welcome to share the flyer and details on your page or via text/email. The cost is only $50 per person before October 9. The first 10 classmates to pay will receive an Avondale High Stadium Cushion!

Thank you for electing us as your class officers during our senior year in 1981. We have honored our responsibilities as evidenced by planning and organizing five previous class reunions! Our class is outstanding!

Of note, this celebration will be our last reunion until our 50th Celebration in the year 2031 pending God’s grace on our lives. We will be 68 years-old!

We assure you that our 40th reunion will be epic! We sincerely hope you will attend!

Dear Classmates, sadly, we just learned through Theresa Lafever Rutledge that our dear classmate Lisa Farrill Russell (top right) passed today at 1:05pm due to a brain hemorrhage. Please pray for Lisa’s family. She was married to her husband, Allan for 39 years. We will share more information as received. 💙
