I’ve been researching this for a while, and thought I’d share one of the many articles I’ve read. I also have been treating several clients who have come to me with severe damage from wearing prolonged styles where heavy amounts of edge control and braiding gels were used. We are apart of a society that teaches us that if everyone else is doing it, it must be right. WELL WRONG!!
To each it’s own, but Sis, you’re not gonna always be young and neither is your hair. Your hair ages like you do, also your skin, your bones , YOU GET IT. It will become a time when it will naturally slow down its production process and weaken on its own, so why would you start prematurely doing damage. We need to do better or at least know better.
