Meet Alayna Baker – Part-Time Operator 🌱
This is Alayna’s second year with Sparks Lawn & Landscaping! You’ll usually find her behind a leaf blower or pushing a mower—when she’s not at open gyms or scooping ice cream at Old 27.
Alayna stays very active throughout the school year. She runs cross country, plays basketball, and competes in track and field, throwing shot put and discus. She’s always on the move!
In her free time, Alayna enjoys hanging out with friends, reading books, and keeping everyone laughing with her great sense of humor. Her favorite season is summer, and when it comes to food—she pretty much loves it all! One of her favorite spots is Coco China. 🍜
From scooping ice cream to blowing grass clippings, Alayna is always ready to jump in and help. And who knows—maybe one day you’ll see her hopping on a mower laying down some clean stripes!

I started this business 6 years ago with the goal of building something alongside my kids that could grow with them. One day, I hope one of them will take it over. I’ve been in lawn care for over 20 years, and for the last 6 years, I’ve proudly run my own business.
I take a lot of pride in the services I provide and in teaching my children the value of hard work and earning a dollar.
A little about the man behind the mower: in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing slow-pitch softball, co****le, and basketball, and sitting in the stands cheering on my kids at their games.
My favorite season is spring, and when it comes to food, you can usually find me at Bdubs or Hot Head Burritos!
